Touch screens make page dragging convenient, but small thumbnails increase the chance of dropping a page one position too early or late. Use page content and neighboring pages as anchors.
Keep the original file until the downloaded sequence has been checked.
Prepare the phone workspace
Use a current browser, close unnecessary tabs and rotate the phone only if the wider view improves thumbnail visibility. Wait for all previews to finish rendering.
Move pages deliberately
Press the page card, drag it between the intended neighbors and release only when the insertion indicator is clear. Recheck numbering after every large move.
- Move one page at a time.
- Use distinctive headings as visual landmarks.
- Rotate sideways pages after ordering.
Validate the saved file
Open the downloaded PDF outside the editor and swipe through every transition. Confirm the page count and any sections where numbering changes.
